Man pleads guilty to reckless homicide
URBANA – Patty Hicks has had to do the unthinkable for a parent: learn to adjust to life without a child.
"It will never be the same. You just have to have a new normal," said the 49-year-old Tolono woman and mother of three.
Surrounded by family on Tuesday morning, she watched the man responsible for the death of her middle daughter, Holly Billman, 20, plead guilty to reckless homicide.
