Man gets nearly 20 years in drug case
URBANA – A Chicago man who has never been to prison before was sentenced Thursday to just under 20 years in federal prison for his third drug-related conviction.
Kristopher Davis, 25, was facing natural life for his role in a cocaine distribution ring that has resulted in the prosecution of 14 people. Because of his willingness to cooperate with the government in naming others, Davis received only 19 years and seven months from Judge Michael McCuskey.
