I-74 shooting victim identified

OAKWOOD – The Vermilion County coroner has identified the man fatally shot by area police near Oakwood on Monday night.

Vermilion County Coroner Peggy Johnson said that Ocuwatofumi O. Kaiyewu, 23, of Missouri City, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:10 a.m.
