15-cent property tax rise OK'd for Urbana Park District

URBANA – Urbana Park District officials look forward to a brighter spring with a 15-cent property tax increase approved by voters Tuesday.

There were 2,868 yes votes to 1,995 no votes – a margin of 59 percent to 41 percent.
