Emergency agency donates water for marathon
The 9,000 or so expected participants in Saturday's Illinois Marathon through Champaign and Urbana may not be thinking about flooding as they chug a cool drink of water.
But because flooding last spring in parts of Illinois wasn't as bad as state emergency preparedness folks feared, there will be water, water everywhere – bottled water, that is – and it's free.
