Man acquitted of sexual assault
URBANA – A Champaign County jury this week acquitted a former Champaign man of sexually assaulting a woman.
Michael S. Jackson, 24, who formerly lived in the 1800 block of Summit Ridge Road and was located in Indiana last November, had been charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault for a Sept. 19, 2007, incident involving a then-18-year-old woman.
