Report: Five shots from three officers felled motorist

OAKWOOD – Five shots were fired by three officers in the Monday death of a medical student from Texas fleeing police near Oakwood.

The shooting report by the state police Friday expanded a little on earlier police reports, but did not name the officers involved in the bizarre incident invlving a machete. Interim Lt. Tad Williams, the author of the report, said no information beyond the release would be issued at this time.
