Champaign man's car recovered after theft at gunpoint

URBANA – A car that was stolen from a Champaign man at gunpoint Thursday was recovered Friday in Urbana.

An Urbana police report said a 30-year-old man was at the Super Eight motel, 612 Killarney St., U, about 2:10 p.m. Thursday when two men entered his Dodge Intrepid. One of the men had a gun, hit him and stole his cell phone and car.
