Bankruptcy filing halts foreclosure sale of Urbana hotel
URBANA – The sheriff's sale of the Historic Lincoln Hotel was canceled Friday after the owner filed for bankruptcy.
Bloomington-based Urbana Enterprise, current owner of the downtown hotel, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in federal court in Springfield on Thursday.
