Critic: Katrina story is a moving film that brings anger, inspiration
CHAMPAIGN – A few days before Hurricane Katrina hit, Kimberly Rivers Roberts bought an old video camera and started to document the prep- arations for the storm, a storm she and her husband, Scott Roberts, had no transportation and no money to flee from.
Not long after, Kimberly was huddled in her unfinished attic with Scott and neighbors, filming as water lapped at the top of the stop sign outside her house, as waves hit windows.
