Urbana 23-year-old charged in shooting in Champaign

URBANA – An Urbana man is due back in court May 8 with an attorney after being charged Friday in connection with a shooting in Champaign on Thursday night.

Turhan Sims, 23, who listed an address in the 1400 block of Montgomery Street, was charged in Champaign County Circuit Court with aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of weapons by a felon.
