URBANA – A Champaign County judge Thursday sentenced a Bement man to four years in prison for driving so recklessly that he killed a Tolono woman last year.
Thomas Brittenham, 47, had pleaded guilty in March to reckless homicide for causing the death of Holly Billmman, 20. She died on Feb. 5, 2008, a day after Brittenham struck her car head-on on a fog-shrouded Monticello Road.
