Rantoul man charged in home invasion
CHAMPAIGN – Bond has been set at $500,000 for a Rantoul man accused of entering a home in Champaign where two teens were baby-sitting children, allegedly brandishing a handgun and making off with a safe, jewelry and cash.
Terron Lyons, 35, who listed an address on the 400 block of North Sheldon Street, Rantoul, faces two counts of home invasion and two counts of armed robbery, all Class X felonies.
