Rantoul man facing drug charges
RANTOUL – A Rantoul man is being held at the Champaign County Jail after police said they found 12 pounds of suspected marijuana and a half-ounce of suspected cocaine in his home.
Rantoul police, with the help of the Metro SWAT team, executed a search warrant on a home on the 300 block of North High Street, Rantoul, at 9:25 a.m. Friday, according to a police report. The warrant was the result of a narcotics investigation.
