Truck drivers voice concerns about proposal in Mansfield
MANSFIELD – Local truck drivers again voiced concerns Monday to the village board over a proposed plan to set truck routes and weight limits on village streets. They asked trustees to consider "grandfathering in" the routes they've been driving for over 30 years when an ordinance is passed.
Mayor Steve Gaines said although he is in favor of that idea, "we've been fighting this (truck traffic on village streets) for a couple years."
