Bondville man accused of sex assault

BONDVILLE – Bond has been set at $250,000 for a Bondville man accused of predatory criminal sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a boy younger than 13 years old.

Jerry L. Wells, 63, who listed an address on County Road 1600N in Bondville, said he wanted to hire his own attorney rather than use the public defender.
