Murder victim had been accused in earlier shooting

URBANA – A man fatally shot in Urbana on Wednesday night had been accused of shooting a man there last October.

Attempted murder charges had been dismissed against Kenneth O. Nolan in mid-March by the Champaign County state's attorney's office because the victim and other witnesses needed for trial could not be found.
