Man pleads innocent to home invasion
CHAMPAIGN – A Champaign man pleaded innocent Monday to home invasion and aggravated unlawful restraint in connection with an incident Saturday in Champaign.
Kenneth Brown, 49, who listed an address in the 500 block of Robinson Street, Champaign, was charged with one count of home invasion, a Class X felony, and one count of aggravated unlawful restraint, a Class 3 felony. If convicted, Brown could be sentenced to between six and 30 years in prison on the first count and between three and five years in prison on the second county.
