T-shirt sales help girl join fight against Crohn's disease
URBANA – Crohn's disease made 11-year-old Nicole Wheatley sick, but she doesn't want to be just another patient. She wants to be part of the cure.
A fifth-grader at Urbana's Wiley Elementary School, Nicole set out to raise money for Crohn's disease research at Carle Clinic by selling T-shirts she and her family designed.
