UI football player charged after fight Friday at Kam's
CHAMPAIGN – Champaign County State's Attorney Julia Rietz said a security video at a campus bar shows a University of Illinois football player hitting a man in a bar fight early Friday morning.
Michael Garrity, 19, a lineman who listed an address in the 500 block of South Third Street, Champaign, was arraigned Friday on two counts of aggravated battery with great bodily harm.
