Fee, tax increases on Champaign council's agenda
CHAMPAIGN – The city council will consider a host of fee and tax increases Tuesday night that, if fully implemented, could generate an additional $2.2 million for city coffers.
Among the fees under consideration are an increase in the cable franchise fee, a new vehicle impoundment fee, and a new tax on out-of-state bulk purchases of natural gas.
