Northern Vermilion pummeled by rain
HOOPESTON – Parts of northern Vermilion County have received a steady flow of rain since 5 p.m. Monday.
Rick Harper, severe weather coordinator for the Vermilion County Emergency Management Agency, said several county roads in the Hoopeston, East Lynn and Rankin areas were flooded by steady rain between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
