Teen hits guardrail but not seriously hurt

FARMER CITY — A Farmer City teen escaped serious injury Friday morning when her car hit a guardrail.

Illinois State Police at Pesotum said Tamara N. Grindley, 16, was driving west on U.S. 150 near Piatt County Road 700 E when she drove into the eastbound lane and hit the end of a guardrail.
