Danville residents protest potential cuts to programs
DANVILLE – People are calling on state politicians wrangling with the state's financial crisis to "do the right thing," but not everyone agrees what the "right" thing would be.
About 200 people gathered Monday in downtown Danville's Temple Plaza for a public forum, protesting potential cuts in human services across the state. Many held signs calling for the state to "Do the right thing" or calling for a tax increase.
