Fee for annual MTD adult bus passes will drop

URBANA – Annual passes for riding local buses will be cheaper starting next month.

Members of the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District voted unanimously in a straw poll vote during a special meeting Wednesday to reduce fares in a trial period from July 1 through the end of the year.
