URBANA – The following Champaign County criminal cases were resolved this week with guilty pleas entered:
– Robert Burns, 21, of Macomb, was sentenced to two years of first offender's probation and ordered to perform 50 hours of public service after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance. He admitted that on Oct. 30, 2008, he possessed "ecstasy" tablets in a car that police stopped at Green and Wright streets for a traffic violation.
