CHAMPAIGN – Ten years after it opened, a transportation hub brings people from Chicago or St. Louis by train, or from Bloomington or Danville by inter-city bus. Students from the University of Illinois or Parkland College also converge, along with people who take local buses to work, shopping or other destinations in Champaign-Urbana.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the opening of the four-story building known simply as Illinois Terminal, 45 E. University Ave.,C.
