Philo woman dies after being thrown from ATV

PHILO – A Philo woman killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident in far southern Illinois on Friday is being mourned by friends and family.

Illinois State Police at Ullin said Kathleen "Katie" Lueth, 21, died early Friday of injuries she sustained when the four-wheeler on which she was a passenger rear-ended another, throwing her off.
