Champaign council OKs request for stimulus funding
"Going green" may mean more "greenbacks" for Champaign and Urbana, including help for local nonprofit agencies in Champaign and some Urbana homeowners and businesses.
Champaign council members Tuesday OK'd a grant application for $763,200 in stimulus grants through the federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program.
