Champaign, Urbana help residents with storm cleanup
Residents in Champaign and Urbana whose property was hit hard by Friday's storms are getting a helping hand from the cities.
Champaign Street Supervisor Kyle Schneider said public works crews will pick up limbs and other storm debris from homes north of Kirby Avenue and east of Mattis Avenue beginning immediately and through Monday. Limbs must be out no later than 8 a.m. June 29 and should be on the parkway at the curb but not in the street.
