Gifford Community Celebration set for this Saturday
GIFFORD – The Gifford community will get a head start on Fourth of July festivities with its Community Celebration on Saturday.
The celebration, while a community mainstay for the better part of a quarter century, had been scaled back in recent years, according to Kelly Carter, Gifford State Bank marketing director. (Bank employees are organizing this year's event.) Last year's celebration featured only a parade and fireworks.
