Inquest weighed in death of inmate at Champaign jail

URBANA – The death of a Champaign man who apparently hanged himself at the Champaign County Jail earlier this month may be the subject of an inquest.

Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said Todd Kelly, 42, who listed an address in the 4800 block of West Windsor Road, C, was pronounced dead at 12:05 p.m. June 25 at Carle Foundation Hospital.
