Authorities still probing fatal crash on Interstate 74
DANVILLE – The Illinois State Police and Vermilion County coroner's office are still investigating Monday's head-on collision on Interstate 74 that killed a 79-year-old Georgetown man.
James C. Frost was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, involving his 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck and a semitrailer. An autopsy was conducted on Tuesday, but the results were not available by mid-afternoon.
