Man pleads innocent to theft charges
URBANA – A Batavia man pleaded innocent Thursday to a single count of misdemeanor theft alleging he stole two signs that were part of a Native American art project on the UI campus.
Mark Nepermann, 21, appeared in court with his attorney, Brian Silverman, to face a theft charge for stealing two signs valued at less than $300 from the Native American House.
