Police probing 2 separate muggings in Urbana

URBANA – Police are investigating two muggings in Urbana this week.

According to Urbana police reports, Aaron Peddycoart, 31, who listed an address in the 900 block of North Gregory Street, Urbana, was arrested about 9:10 a.m. Tuesday after he allegedly threatened a 43-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman with a butcher knife in a parking lot at Crystal Lake Park in Urbana. Sgt. Dan Morgan said Peddycoart knew the couple.
