Tolono drainage issues being addressed
TOLONO – Residents in Tolono's southwest corner who have an ongoing problem with water in their backyards will soon be able to offer ideas for a solution.
The village board Tuesday asked Foth Infrastructure & Environment engineer Tom Overmyer to determine how much standing water residents will be willing to accept and for how long, something they will be asked to agree to in a drainage easement. Overmyer will also study how large a storm water line will be needed to meet the needs of the estimated 35 to 40 affected homes.
