Rantoul board sets attendance goals for students
RANTOUL – Kindergarten through fifth-grade students will need to cut down on absences to earn attendance points toward promotion, the Rantoul City Schools board has decided.
Beginning in August, students will earn one point if they are in school at least 80 percent of the time they are enrolled in the district, and a second point if they are present at least 85 percent of the time.
