First snow brings slick road conditions to East Central Illinois

The season's first snowfall has brought just a dusting to Champaign County, but you should watch for some scattered slippery spots as you head out this morning.   Also, be cautious on overpasses and ramps.

But, you may encounter more slippery conditions when you head north into Ford, Iroquois, Kankakee and Livingston Counties where state transportations officials indicate that roadways are covered with patches of snow and ice.  A little more snow was expected in those areas.
