Firefighters extinguish house fire in Champaign; no one reported injured

CHAMPAIGN — No one has been reported hurt in a fire at 2104 Clover Court West in south-central Champaign on Sunday night. Firefighters were called to the home shortly after 10 p.m. and found the rear of the house fully involved in flames.

The occupants were out of the home, said Deputy Fire Chief Steve Clarkson. Firefighters had extinguished the fire just after 10:30 p.m.

Firefighters have yet to assess the extent of the damage or how the fire started.
