Champaign police investigate armed robbery

CHAMPAIGN — Police are investigating an armed robbery Monday afternoon in Champaign.

According to a police report, a 17-year-old Champaign man was sitting on his porch in the 200 block of East Bellefontaine Street at 5 p.m. Monday when another man approached him, displayed a black-colored revolver, and demanded the victim's iPad.

The robber took the iPad and ran off.

The victim was not injured, according to police.

The description of the robber was incomplete.
