Man sentenced to life in prison for fifth drug conviction.
URBANA — An Urbana man who police said had crack cocaine packaged for sale in his home was sentenced on Monday to life in prison following his conviction on a federal drug charge.
Chief U.S. District Judge Michael P. McCuskey sentenced Terrion Herman, 35, on Monday.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Eugene Miller, who prosecuted the case, said the life sentence is mandatory because of Herman's prior drug-related convictions.
In June 2011, a jury convicted Herman of one count of possession of 50 grams or more of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute.
According to an Urbana police report, officers got a search warrant for Herman's apartment in the 1200 block of South Vine Street, Urbana, on Feb. 3, 2010. Police found about 3.3 ounces of crack cocaine packaged for sale hidden inside the back of a clock in the apartment. Police also recovered some plastic bags and a digital scale.
Sharon Paul, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney's office, said Herman had four prior felony drug convictions and was on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a state narcotics conviction at the time of the arrest.
This man(Hollingsworth) got probation for raping a child. Now hes facing 3 class X felonies dealing with more child rape, he faces a maximum of 30 years.
"Hollingsworth pleaded guilty in March 2011 to criminal sexual abuse, admitting he sexually molested a child in Rantoul between December 2008 and June 2009. He was sentenced to 30 months of probation and was required to register as a sex offender."

This man(Jones) raped a girl on a regualr basis for 7 YEARS! He gets 30 years in prison.
"On Monday, Judge Harry Clem sentenced Robert T. Jones, 57, of Cottonwood, Ariz., formerly of Urbana, to 15 years in prison on each of four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault."

Now, a man that has $9,000 worth of cocaine gets life in prison? Explain this to me. I dont get it, you can rape a little innocent girl and get probation. A mear slap on the wrist. He should be castrated. You can ruin that girls life, steal her innocense, take away something that can never be given back and only get probation. BUT, if you so choose to induce YOURSELF with any form of drug that our society has somehow deamed un-safe, you go to jail FOREVER. I honestly dont understand. This legal system is so wrong and corrupt.
