Champaign County Humane Society launches new website

After months of planning, the Champaign County Humane Society has launched its re-vamped website.

The new site comes after the group won a website makeover contest last November.  The contest was sponsored by LRS Web Solutions of Springfield.

Humane Society Executive Director Mary Tiefenbrunn said the group is already getting some good feedback on the new site.  She said the site is now easier for the public to navigate and find pets that people might want to adopt.

Tiefenbrunn said the Humane Society's old webpage had to be updated off-site.  But this new site can be updated directly from the shelter, which she said is much more convenient.
