Traffic to be reduced on Vine Street in Urbana

URBANA — Traffic will be reduced on Vine Street in Urbana beginning Wednesday for fiber-optic work in the area.

Vine Street will have periodic lane closures in a north lane between California Avenue and Main Street beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday while fiber-optic conduit and hand holes are installed.

Two-way traffic will be maintained on Vine Street throughout the project, which is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. April 8, weather permitting.
