Red flag warning in effect for two East Central Illinois counties

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Ford and Iroquois counties, in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

The weather service says a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and high temperatures will elevate the risk for fires to spread rapidly.  You should refrain from outdoor burning in Ford and Iroquois counties on Monday.
