URBANA -- No one was hurt when lightning sparked a fire in a home in Urbana's Stone Creek subdivision on Sunday evening.

Firefighters were called to 2730 Castlerock Dr. just after 7 p.m. Two people were inside when the fire started, but they both exited safely, said Urbana fire division chief Chad Hensch.

Hensch said the damage was mostly confined to the attic, and officials estimate the property damage at $200,000.

Firefighters were on the scene for hours after the call removing insulation to prevent reignition of the fire.
