Urbana police investigate robbery at Domino's Pizza

URBANA — Police are investigating a robbery late Sunday night at an Urbana pizza business.

Nobody was reported hurt.

According to an Urbana police report that was released on Tuesday, two men walked into the Domino's Pizza, 1108 N. Cunningham Ave., U, at 10:53 p.m. Sunday and demanded cash from the register.

The two robbers directed the man working there to put the money in a backpack, and then they ran out of the building.

The robbers never used or implied they had a weapon, according to the report.

The first robber was described as a 25-year-old black man. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a white cloth over his face, white gloves and black pants. The man's eyes were showing through the white cloth, according to the employee.

The second robber was described as a man of unknown race. He is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a gray mask and black gloves. The man's eyes were showing through the mask.

Persons with information about the incident are asked to call Urbana police at 384-2320.
