Road work planned for Savoy

SAVOY — Starting Tuesday, asphalt work will disrupt traffic on three village streets.

Hartwell Drive, Hartwell Court and Graham Street from Dunlap Avenue to Wesley Avenue will be affected by the construction.

The existing asphalt pavement will be milled, and an asphalt overlay will be placed on the streets.

The streets will be open to two-way traffic but may be reduced to a single lane with flagmen at times. Parking on the streets will be prohibited between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The road work is expected to be completed on Friday.

Village Director of Public Works Brent Maue is asking drivers to use extreme caution in the work zone and recommends alternate routes when possible.
