Pair not seriously injured after rollover

TOLONO - A Bourbonnais woman and her passenger did not require medical treatment after the vehicle they were in rolled over Friday night on a county road northeast of Tolono.

Champaign County sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Vercler said Megan Curie, 21, was driving a sport utility vehicle north on County Road 1200 E (South First Street extended) near 950 N about 10:30 p.m. when she lost control. Vercler said the SUV went into a field and rolled over twice before coming to rest on its wheels.

Curie and her passener, Devin Deatherage, 21, of Peoria, were wearing seat belts and neither required medical treatment, Vercler said.

Curie was given a ticket for improper lane usage.
