Georgetown Township seeks donations of winter coats

GEORGETOWN — Georgetown Township is sponsoring a coat drive for people in the Georgetown-Ridge Farm school district, starting next week.

Organizers will accept new or gently used coats, hats, mittens, gloves, scarves and boots for children and adults at the township building, 1805 N. Main St., Georgetown.

Drop-off times are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Nov. 9; 10 a.m. to noon on Nov. 10; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13 through 16. (The office is closed on Nov. 12.)

The warm clothing will be distributed to people who are in need at no charge, at the township building from 10 a.m. to noon on Nov. 17.
