Police looking for home invader

URBANA — Urbana police are looking for a man who robbed several men at gunpoint at a home in that city Thursday night.

An Urbana police report said about 8:38 p.m. Thursday, a man entered a home in the 800 block of North Mathews Avenue without permission and while armed with a gun, demanded money from the people present.

The report said there were five men, ranging in age from 24 to 50, in the residence and that the intruder made off with cash, credit cards and identification.

The description given for the gunman said he was about 6 feet 1 inch tall, had a gray mask over his mouth and nose, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt under a black leather jacket.
